Cristina Casellas, Technology Transfer Manager from Eurecat, has attended the workshop “How functional and additive printing impact the world of packaging and logistics”, organised on November 28th, 2023, by the Functional Print Cluster, 3NEO Platform and ITENE at the facilities of the Spanish State Investigation Agency in Madrid.
During the workshop, she presented MADRAS and the flexible battery-free geolocation tag developed in the project. In particular, she introduced the manufacturing and functioning of the tag and she expressed the advantages that this device brings to the fields of logistics and packaging, like attaching it to tools or vehicles.

This workshop, which celebrated its 4th edition this year, aimed at analysing the current tendencies of the packaging sector, and how functional and advanced printing can impact and solve some of the challenges.
