University of Pardubice (UPA) is a modern and dynamic public higher education institution located in the Czech Republic. Its 7 faculties provide Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degree courses in 60 undergraduate or postgraduate study programmes to 8000 students.
Apart from teaching, the University is also renowned for its numerous scientific and research activities, in which it has been ranked among the top ten higher education institutions in the Czech Republic, mainly due to scientific results of the Faculty of Chemical Technology. Research and development (R&D) have been carried out on a broad scale, ranging from fundamental to specific applied research. Current research partners include industry, businesses and companies, R&D departments of other institutions and jointly operated laboratories, creating also consortia and clusters. The Centre for technology and knowledge transfer helps to link scientific capacities to practise and actively promote the intellectual property assets of the University.
Contribution to MADRAS
Within project the UPA team will be responsible for research and development of ink formulations of conductive polymers (PEDOT, PPY, PANI) for fabrication of HTL (Hole transport layer) or transparent conductive layers (TCL) using printing or coating technologies.
Alongside this, UPA team will be responsible for development of technology printing/coating processes for HTL and TCL layers fabrication with required electrical and morphological properties.
