It is present in 6 countries in Europe (Spain, Austria, France, Italy, Portugal and the Czech Republic), and has a workforce of 1,000 employees. It currently has a fleet of 17,000 vehicles, of which 56% are electric scotters that operate by emitting a zero footprint.
Cooltra Group offers two-wheel mobility solutions ranging from scooters rental for days, -oriented to customers who need a scooter for their vacations-, to rental for months for individuals, companies and public administrations.
The company is the market leader in number of vehicles, it is present in more than 20 cities and offers up to 100 points where customers can pick up their vehicles.
The company has 3 brands: Cooltra, mobility solutions for both individuals and companies or institutions, eCooltra, launched in 2016 and based on the rental of electric motorcycles by minutes, and EcoScooting, last mile delivery service within cities through vehicles 100% electric.
Contribution to MADRAS
Cooltra will provide the end platform to test in a real vehicle the biometric photosensor to validate user’s identity. We are responsible of assembling the prototype and performing the needed endurance tests and UX validation.
