Eticas Research and Consulting
Eticas Research and Consulting is a Spain-based SME founded in 2012 as a university spin-off. Since then, Eticas has been working on the legal, ethical and social impact of security policy, innovation and technology development, as well as the interaction between changing societal values, engineering possibilities and fundamental rights.
Eticas Research and Consulting is specialized in the field of technologies and security, with particular focus on data protection and algorithmic fairness.
Eticas provides comprehensive solutions to problems within four areas of action: Research: we conduct research on the interactions between technology and society; Consulting: we help companies understand how to govern data ethically and responsibly; Cities: we support cities with the development and execution of responsible data strategies; Products: we are developing products that will help safeguard the privacy of your data.
Contribution to MADRAS
Eticas’ area contribution to MADRAS is supporting partners on the social, ethical and data protection implications of the project research activities and outcomes. In this framework, it will also assess the acceptability and desirability of MADRAS technologies.
