The MADRAS project has been disseminated by project coordinator Eurecat during the Food4Future expo that took place on May 16th-18th, 2023, in Bilbao (Spain).
In particular, Eurecat exhibited the geotracking flexible tag developed within the project by detailing the four steps that were taken for its development.
These steps were shown in order: printed electronics, by printing the UHF RFID antenna using conductive ink on a nanocellulose substrate, hybridisation, with conductive soldering silver paste trimming and injection, where the functional foil is embedded on plastic as a new functional device.
The tag can be implemented in the logistics of agri-food industry and in other sectors, as it can localise assets at any time without any battery usage thanks to far-field wireless power transmission.
