The MADRAS project has been presented at the International Virtual Workshop on “CRM Innovations Frontiers, organised by the EIT RawMaterials trough the Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development (ENEA) on December 10th.
During the workshop, project partner Rita Faddoul from GenesInk, presented MADRAS as a key European project for developing advanced materials to fabricate a new generation of plastronic products with enhanced properties to make OLAE-based devices more affordable and durable.
In addition, Rita talked about the work done by GenesInk, explaining its mission and giving a general overview about its applications and proposed solutions to solve the main problems faced in the printed electronics industry. GenesInk is an advanced material manufacturer of innovative highly conductive and semi-conductive inks which enables customers to connect today the objects of tomorrow by reducing devices form factor and enabling new designs and products.
The International Virtual Workshop on CRM Innovations Frontiers was aimed to show the latest trends of the innovation in the different aspects of the critical raw materials field from the perspective of universities, research institutions, companies and public administrations, among others.
The EIT RawMaterials is an international platform for innovation funded by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). As part of regional development programs, the EIT RawMaterials has created the Regional Center South Italy (RCSI), a Hub located in the Italian Puglia Region and coordinated by ENEA, in order to increase the involvement of local ecosystems in the activities of KIC and its partnership. RCSI also aims at reaching new organizations and promote the participation of the most innovative industries and SMEs, as well as the involvement of prestigious universities and research centres in the area.
