Partners from Eurecat Laura López, MADRAS technical coordinator and researcher at the Functional Printing and Embedded Devices Unit, and Enric Fontdecaba, Head of the Polymeric Materials Unit, have hosted a MADRAS workshop organised within the Mecaplastronic Connection 2022 exhibition, held on November 29th-30th in Lyon (France).
The workshop, entitled “New materials and manufacturing processes for a scalable production of Organic Large Area Electronics (OLAE) flexible devices”, presented the In-Mould Electronics process applied for the development of the two project demonstrators.
They also conducted a questionnaire amongst the audience in order to gather information for replicability purposes, discussing the applicability of MADRAS’ innovation in other scenarios.
Moreover, a MADRAS rollup was displayed in Eurecat’s booth at the exhibition, where they also showcased the demos of the project under development.
The Mecaplastronic Connection exhibition is a B2B event with workshops, conferences and roundtables dedicated to innovation in mechatronics, plastronics and printed electronics.
