As part of its standardisation activities, the MADRAS project has kicked off a CEN-CENELEC workshop on advanced materials and processing in organic electronics. The initial meeting was held on November 2nd on an online format. The Spanish Association for Standardisation (UNE) was the organiser of the event.
The objective of this workshop, which will last until March 2023, is the publication of two CEN Workshop Agreements (CWA) on hybridisation, thermoforming and injection moulding of rigid control units on in-mould flexible devices process.
Another CWA on the effect of material choice and plastic insertion on the design of antennas by simulation and material choice for in-mould tags will also be developed.
The workshop counted with the participation from representatives from project partners UNE, Eurecat, TNO and GenesInk. Other organisations interest to join the workshop can contact info@madras-project.eu.
