Gaël Depres and Arnaud Benard, project partners from Fedrigoni Paper, have attended the NOT-NANO DAY, a one-day conference celebrated in Vancouver (Canada) on June 9th, 2023. The event was co-hosted by the BioProducts Institute of the University of British Columbia and the Grenoble Institute of Technology in France.
During Gaël’s presentation, entitled “Will paper save the world?”, he introduced Fedrigoni’s achievements met thanks to the MADRAS project. In particular, the company has produced cellulose nanofibrils foils with a high degree of transparency, up to 90%, using carboxymethyl continuous adsorption (CMC) and phosphorylation.
