Tomas Syrový, Head of the Department of Graphic Arts and Photophysics at the University of Pardubice, has presented a scientific paper based on MADRAS research at the Iarigai/IC 2022 conference, celebrated between September 19th-23rd at Clemson University in Greenvile (South Carolina, United States).
The paper, entitled “Optimization of PEDOT:PSS layers for hole transporting layers of organic photodetectors”, was presented within Session 4B and has been contributed by project partners from the University of Pardubice, the Center for Organic Chemistry and project coordinator Eurecat.
This paper focuses on the optimisation of PEDOT:PSS ink for the preparation of a hole transport layer. The ink was developed for the spiral bar coating technique and for subsequent organic photodetector preparation. In this study, the effect of various variables such as secondary dopant, surfactant, PEDOT:PSS complex ratio and ink composition on selected characteristics such as conductivity, work function, charge carrier mobility, etc. is demonstrated.
